Get Maid Up LLC reserves the right to make amendments to these conditions without giving prior notice. By requesting Get Maid Up LLC to provide service by any means including telephone, email, fax, booking form and or direct conversation – the client accepts that these terms and conditions are binding.
CANCELLATION
We understand that things come up suddenly. So, if it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, Get Maid Up LLC requires a 48hr business day notice. If we don’t receive a notice and cannot access your home, there will be a cancellation fee – 50% of total cleaning price. -any changes or modifications for scheduled cleanings should not be made through service providers. Please contact our local office for any changes. -Recurring service are priced at a discounted rate. If the client decides to cancel after only one clean, our One-Time cleaning charges will apply.
The most preferred and convenient method: you may leave a key to your residence with Get Maid Up LLC. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe. All keys are coded for security and will never have your name or address attached to them. If it is not possible to leave a key with Get Maid Up LLC, you may meet the service provider at your residence. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy should Get Maid Up LLC be unable to access your home during the preset arrival window.
If neither of the above is possible, please make alternate arrangements with your local Get Maid Up LLC office. Collection and returning of keys by Get Maid Up LLC will attract a surcharge dependent on distance and or time in terms of such extra service. Should there be any loss of such key or key, the liability will be limited to the actual cost of the key only.
The client has the responsibility to deactivate any alarms and no responsibility for the triggering of an alarm system or costs related to a response will be accepted by Get Maid Up LLC.
Get Maid Up LLC gladly accepts MasterCard or Visa. Full payment is due at the time of your cleaning. A credit card number must be kept on file with your Maids Next Door LLC office. Your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, after each cleaning unless you leave an alternate form of payment at the time of service. Payment will only processed after completion of your booking. To validate your credit card a pre-authorization is placed the day before your booking.
Please note that it will take a few cleanings to confirm your ongoing maintenance needs. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that we will move from deep cleaning into maintenance cleaning as quickly as possible. We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness or departure from the company, Get Maid Up LLC may occasionally provide a replacement cleaner.
If, due to the unique nature of your home, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work.
To ensure quality service for all valued clients, Get Maid Up LLC cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our cleaners to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday that Get Maid Up LLC observes, we will contact you to reschedule your cleaning.
Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Get Maid Up LLC will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right.
Get Maid Up LLC never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaner. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
Get Maid Up LLC is bonded and insured. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 10 times the cost of the service charge on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. The client is responsible for reporting any incident, breakage, damage and loss within 24 hours of completion of the service. Failure to do so will nullify any claim. The client is responsible for securing – cash, jewelry and any other items of value. Get Maid Up LLC pays staff well and has a zero tolerance policy in terms of theft and dishonesty. No responsibility or liability is however accepted for any of the above. A client may inspect the bag of a Maid, on arrival and on leaving or keep same in a safe place.
If a client suspect’s theft or actual theft has taken place, it is the client’s responsibility to report the incident to Get Maid Up LLC. The client will lay a charge of theft, if actual theft has taken place and follow through to the point of actual prosecution. Get Maid Up LLC is indemnified against any claim. The client is responsible for securing or removing all fragile or easily breakable, or valuable items from areas that need to be cleaned. Items excluded from any liability by Get Maid Up LLC are cash, jewelry, art works, antiques and items of sentimental value.
Get Maid Up LLC has insurance to cover any accidental damages caused by a Get Maid Up LLC member of staff at a point of service, subject to the damages been reported within 12 hours of completion of the service in writing either per email to Get Maid Up LLC. This is restricted to actual damage and consequential damage is not covered nor will Get Maid Up LLC be held liable for such.
Insurance will not cover anything that may breakdown or stop working at any time and this would include but is not restricted to vacuum, computer, fridge, freezer, microwave, dish washer, stove, oven, washing machine and tumble dryer or the instability of any item which the client is already aware of, such as headboards, bathroom fixtures or other property fittings. And or chipped or cracked items or services. The client is obliged to notify Get Maid Up LLC management of fittings that are poorly secured, not secured or appliances that are not in proper working order. No liability will be accepted by Get Maid Up LLC for any of the above or for damage caused directly or indirectly to anything else or anyone else. Ant appliance moved for any reason is done at the risk of the client.
Should you wish to hire a present or past Get Maid Up LLC cleaner for any home-related service outside of your agreement with Get Maid Up LLC, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Get Maid Up LLC. If the fee is not paid, Get Maid Up LLC reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.
Gift certificates do not expire. Gift certificates may not be returned, is not redeemable for cash and no charge will be given, except where required by law.
Your security is a priority at Get Maid Up LLC. To provide credit card security and keep your personal information safe, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the most widely used data encryption coding system for secure e-commerce transactions. All of your information is encrypted (scrambled) prior to being sent over the Internet to our system. To protect your information once we receive it, we place it on systems behind secure firewalls, which are communication-management computers designed to keep information safe and inaccessible to other Internet users. If your browser doesn’t accept the SSL technology, transactions will not be permitted. To confirm that your connection is secure, look for the letters “https” (rather than “http”) located in the URL address window at the top of your browser to indicate that you are using a secure browser.
What information do we collect on our site, and how do we use it? We collect only the consumer’s domain name (where possible), aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit on our site, and information volunteered by the consumer – such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number and the email addresses of those who fill out the estimate form. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website, customize the content and/or layout of our web pages for each individual visitor, and used to create service estimates. With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitor’s preferences, and record past activity on our site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site. We also sometimes use cookies to deliver targeted ads to past visitors of the site. To opt out of these ads please visit your browser’s ad preferences manager.
With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. Opt-in: Submitting an estimate request and/or calling Get Maid Up LLC to request an estimate are treated as an opt-in to receive service related follow up and information from staff.
If you supply us with your email address you will only receive communications related to Get Maid Up LLC related service and product offerings. If you supply us with your postal address you will only receive periodic mailings from us with information on promotions, services or upcoming events. If you supply us with your telephone number you will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding requested services.
